Tam Strobori (
) is a northern Thai salad prepared with strawberries. The preparation as well as the other
ingredients correspond to those of a Som Tam, which leads to a really exciting flavour combination.
The “Tam Strobori” owes its strange name to the loanword for “strawberry”, the English translation of strawberry. This is called “Sa Tro Bo Ri” (สตรอเบอร์รี่)
or “Sa To Bo Ri” (สตอเบอรี่) in Thai. Therefore, there are also two different spellings (
