“Nam Tok Bpet” (
น้ำตกเป็ด
) is a salad with grilled duck breast from Isaan. The meat is cut into thin slices and mixed with fresh herbs
like mint and coriander. The salad is dressed with a mixture of lime juice, fish sauce and coarse chilli powder and garnished with toasted rice powder. The
salad can also be found under the name “Nam Tok Bpet Yang” (
น้ำตกเป็ดย่าง
). This emphasises that it is grilled duck.
