“Nam Prik Ma Muang” (
) is a spicy dip where pieces of unripe mango are pounded together with chilis, garlic, shrimp
paste and palm sugar in a mortar to form a coarse paste. This is then mixed with fish sauce and lime juice and finally served together with raw vegetables as a
dip.
