Moo daeng" (
หมูแดง) is pork that is marinated in a mixture of various spices and red rose tofu . The meat is then grilled or fried and the
marinade gives it a characteristic red colour and a slightly sweet flavour. The Moo Daeng is a Thai variation of the Chinese “Char Siu” (叉燒) and literally
means “red pork”.
