“Khao Lueang Up Gai” (
ข้าวเหลืองอุ๊ปไก่) is a northern Thai curry with chicken and tomatoes that is prepared with a paste made
from dried chilis, garlic, Thua Nao and prawn paste. Traditionally, this curry is then served with rice that has been coloured yellow with turmeric. The dish
also goes by the name “Khao Lueang Jan Gai” (
ข้าวเหลืองจันไก่).
