Gaeng Hed

"Gaeng Hed" ( แกงเห็ด ) is a mushroom soup from Isaan. Various types of mushrooms are cooked in a broth that is based on a paste made from garlic, shallots, chilis and lemongrass. The broth is thickened with yanang extract and seasoned with nam plaa ra as well as various fresh herbs.
