“Choo Chee Goong” (
ฉู่ฉี่กุ้ง) is a Thai dish featuring fried prawns in a thick red coconut curry sauce. The sauce has a creamy
consistency and a mild spiciness from the curry paste. The name “Choo Chee” is said to come from the sound the curry paste makes when it sizzles in the hot
coconut milk.
